MEC

Long-term client evolution & headless rebuild
First launched in 2007 on TYPO3 v4, mec.ee was continuously maintained across multiple TYPO3 LTS cycles for over a decade. To lower the heavy maintenance overhead typical of complex enterprise CMS upgrades, the platform recently underwent a full re-architecture: migrating to the KAMA headless content engine paired with an Astro front end.
Key highlights
Decoupled architecture: Replaced legacy CMS infrastructure with the KAMA headless engine and Astro, drastically reducing server footprint, hosting expenses, and ongoing update cycles.
Privacy by design: Engineered to eliminate tracking scripts and non-essential cookies, delivering full GDPR compliance without intrusive consent banners.
15+ years of partnership: Reflects continuous long-term collaboration, from initial 2007 deployment and LTS maintenance to modern headless re-engineering and managed hosting.
